ok i guess it's been MONTHS since i last updated but well. least 'm here again, like finally. Lol

Transition in life had been great and I so love my life right now. Although things are hard to manage at times but definitely it's the passion and interest that keeps me going. (no longer the blur me when i would just do things w/o thinking why am i doing it)

Since the year started pastor had been preaching about carrying out the Cultural Mandate and when I heard it I was like 'WOW' because you can't imagine yourself being in the marketplace doing the things you might not have done and just staying within the 4 walls of the church. And imagine what you are doing in the marketplace will carry an impact and soon to change how the society functions and not to forget raising the standards plus increasing the value. Now i'm just thinking how can I or what can i do to be the salt and the light in the marketplace as i feel i can do greater things than what I'm doing in the 4 walls of the church though it's something achievable, especially in how this year started.

Ok, let's see how the year of 2007 started. It began with my transition from infantry in BMT to now navy in CNB. haha.. The sad thing is i need to go for RST (Remedial Swimming Training) until I get CAT 1 to clear my swimming. (Myswimming skills can be quie lousy at times) but I do enjoy swimming. Least sth different from running. hehe..
What else, in usher ministry I'm on my way to really rising up although a lot of time is taken up but I'm ok with how things go. Recently got hands-on in how the Logistics funtions and it's really a lot of work because of it's nature that it's purpose is to serve the entire ministry and service to make sure it runs smoothly, then did Alpha 2 for the first time last weekend duty and it really exposed me to things beyond just serving the congregation and ensuring everyone gets a seat. And I'm glad my r/s with my leaders got closer than before of which I can press into their lives even more. =) *Thumbs up for that*
From next month onwrds gonna take part in a mentorship program for children at risk, that's a joint project under PromiseWorks and MCYS. Nature of work is like yourself being a mentor to guide the young not to fall into the wrong path. So it'll be quite a good exposure for me I must say.

For now I'm looking forward to more things that I'm going to take on, be it in NS, church level or even in the marketplace. At least I know I'm making a difference in the lives of others! =)
