Yo! I'm back!! after one week of no updates! oops! haha..

Anyway it was a good week before this yea.. Anyway to continue with the last post when I was in Esplanade library with Yuling, Victor and Vanessa, we went over to Marina Square to have our super duper late dinner while trying to squeeze through the crowd that was supposedly going for the Festival of Light which would start at 9pm on that day. What happened was the whole group missed the fireworks but thank God for the great fellowship we had.

Initially we had difficulties looking for a place to eat since everywhere we go, every corner we turn to, the restuarants are always full of people (not to mention long queues!!) but eventually we settled with Sakae Sushi. Well thankfully while queuing thanks to Vanessa the 3 of us didn't get bored because she's the one being bullied! Haha.. By chance I saw B.Eugene and S.Beatrice queuing in front of me. What a small world.. Lol..

Anyway the queue cleared pretty fast but sadly I didn't get a chance to sit down in my favourite seats but oh well, it's the company that matters most. Haha. Oh did i mention that with the 3 of them around, it was time for crazy photo taking? From queuing to even while eating food the were just taking pictures like nobody's business.. haha..

After dinner all of us were pretty tired so home we go and yea.. Oh!! I managed to buy m Billabong phone lanyard!! Haha.. Love it so much! Yea!!

That;s for National Day eve.. Haha.. National Day itself was more interesting!!

Let's see.. Went for haircut in the afternoon, then went to meet up with Xue'er and Lifang for movie later, of which the rest would be joining us later in the day. Met the girls at PS Mac, suddenly had the urge to go to arcade so i played TC 4 but as expected, I didn't make it through the first round.. so malu la!! (coz before me there's actuall a couple that had completed the ENTIRE game..) La... Went down to B2 to look around and out of nowhere we just walked into Spectacle hut where I made my new specs, 2 specs costing 358 in total.. Pocket was almost burnt but I guess I'm gonna like it! haha.. the funky me. Lol! =)Shall collect them on Thu and by fri to wear it to church! haha!!!

Anyway Xinyi came along and later met up with Linda and Joanne.. Now this is the part where it gets quite dampening.. now the ratio between genders is 5 girls to 1 guy (which is me). So after getting the snacks from carrefour we went to meet up with Lixin, Pei En and S.vic, so that's 8 girls to 1 guy!! haha.. went in to the theatre and there came rongrong.. so that makes 9 girls to 1 guy! Sian!! haha.. no guys around can really seem bored at times coz it's almost you are part of them liao. -.-

We went to watch the movie 'Click' and it's really a movie worth watching!! Haha.. There's one scene in the movie where it got so touching until the girls in the row started crying... haha.. You practically see fingers everywhere near their face and tissues coming out of the bags.. lol.. Anyway S.Vic was like saying if I was ill-feeling coz i'm the only person that didn't cry. -.- Well so it was dinner time for us after the movie and Mitchell + Yiwei came to join us. Dinner table was fun with ppl thinking how come i can eat so much but yet become slim.. -.o

Lol.. So yea.. end of national day (sorry for the using caps at the right moment as i'm getting lazy of typing..)

Anyway thursday was as per normal.. work and home for dinner... yup..

Fri.. that was the the worse day of the week.. Why? Work as per normal still until after lunch when suddenl the workload got so much + troubleshooting until I left school near 8pm at night.. Funny thing was I intended to meet up with pei en at 6.15pm outside heeren to get the gifts for B.Qz. In any case took cab down with Chris and manage to meet the girls (Xue'er, Lifang, Vanessa and Pei En..) and got the present + the card + tons of Zo cards ! haha.. Well, after dinner at Heeren it was back home and it's always the fellowship with the peeps that's the bang of the day. haha..

Sat.. Morning went to Expo for ministry, afternoon cell group meeting and evening time went for service.. bla.. think i'll update tml.. i'm getting lazy!! ahahaha.. see ya!! :p

Currently in Esplanade Library with Vanessa, Yuling and Victor.. Haha.. Funny bunch of people and though we can't really talk since it's the library but it's still fun!! =)

Anyway it's Festival of Light = Fireworks!! =) later at Marina Bay area and I'm so hungry now!! haha.. but the guys are still studying till 7.30pm so got to bear until that time..

Anyway I had the privilege to serve during festival of Praise as an usher for all the 3 nights and serving with my section is so fun, especially during the 17th Anniversary when I'm only like 10m away from Pastor Kong! Heh.. Served in all areas of the stadium except Floor and South zone but I believe I'll have a chance next year! Haha..
Serving as an usher is great, but ushering the presence of God and serving the congregation is far greater, an experience I'm not willing to exchange for the things of the world! Impacting lives of the congregation, especially when people will appreciate you with smiles and thanks and you know that you had made their day.
Festival of Praise really taught me a lot of things, not just the sermon itself but the experience of serving and ministering through your ministry. Getting yourself to the next level of being sharper, vigilant, diligent and most importantly the expansion of capacity.

Pei Fen was asking me on the 2nd night of FOP during debrief if I'm aiming to rise up in ministry to be at least a team leader. At that moment I stopped for a moment to think about my calling. Somehow I felt more called to become a cell group leader but I know at least in usher ministry, I'll make it to at least a team leader. Haha.. A vision for myself next year..
