Very interesting profile I have from this evaluation but I must say it's 80% quite accurate... I;m just the kind of person that needs reassurance from people. I hope that one day, this confirmation and reassurance can come from God too.. as in a stronger reassurance.. =)

At this time you are feeling 'uptight' and you are urgently in need of rest and relaxatn; but perhaps even more than that you need to overcome that feeling that you have been 'hard done by' and treated with a complete lack of consideration.

Maybe you have, but whatever may have been the cause of your inherent anxiety, you regard the situation as intolerable. Your are, however, sufficiently competent to turn that situation around - you have overcome similar problems in the past, and really this one isn't too different.

You like the better things in life. You are sensuous and emotional. You are a follower of the Arts and you seek an environment that will give you the fulfilment to the senses that you need.Your confidence has been shattered. There are so many things that you would like to do with your life, so many dreams to be fulfilled - and you know that your hopes and dreams are not just figments of your imagination, they are real and you are looking for reassurance from someone.

Basically your fears are such that you may be prevented in attaining your hopes and dreams. Even now you would like to broaden your fields of endeavour but in order to develop your 'inner- self' you need peace and solace. You are distressed by the fear that you may be prevented from attaining your goals. What you really need at this particular moment in time is quiet reassurance from someone close to you to restore your confidence.

Your ability to withstand the pressures of everyday life have been overtaxed and this is leading to stress and frustrations. It would seem that for the time being you have lost the resilience and strength of will necessary to contend with existing difficulties. You feel that it is all 'too much' and, try as you may, you are getting nowhere. But to give you credit, you continue to stand your ground and pursue your objectives with a fierce intensity. Naturally this situation is subjecting you to intolerable stress and pressure from which you would dearly like to escape, but you can not bring yourself to make the necessary decision. As a result you remain firmly involved in the problem and you can neither view it objectively nor get rid of it - you cannot leave it alone and you feel that you will only be at peace when you have reached your objective.

You have so many ideas that you would like to revitalise but you need to realise a stable and peaceful condition to do so. Once you can free yourself from all the aggravation and tension around you, you will make strides that may amaze you. You will not be prevented from achieving all the things you so desire.

Sometimes I'm really amazed with how people react. If they ask the line to be drawn clearly, how should it be drawn and to what extent will it stop? I can really go to the extreme of not talking to the person at all because if the line is to be drawn, I'll just let it be as clear to me as possible. But come to think of it, doing such is not very mature, just an act of childishness on my side but I just can't help it?

2nd post of the day liao..

I wonder how God really moves when He really wants to... Just now I was talking about the Sports Day parade right (in my previous post), then i recalled I was put in a similar situation during ushering just last Sunday when there wasn't enough manpower available and I got to run instead of my own zone, 3 zones and need to get status often to my zone i/c. Similarly, the instructions came very sudden without any mental preparation. But in any case, I reacted well according to the peers for both situations but somehow personally I don't think I did that well, like much more could have been achieved if more had being done.

2 reasons why God wants to put me in these 2 similar situations (whatever I can think of).
Primarily because I'm doing a lot of things that I only depended on my own strength and not Christ alone. Christ and us are suppose to work together as one, so it seems like God wants to do something in me but yet I'm the one not willing to 'cooperate.' Haha..

There's something that I had not learnt from these 2 scenarios and till now I haven't figure out what is it. =X But the first one seem more valid to me leh, unless it's something more specific.

And oh yea.. 2 very interesting things happened! Because I'm supposed to get my pay today de but because the timesheet was handed in late, I could only get my pay next week on the 14th. Well, I just spoke that I will get my pay on the 7th and yea, I got my pay today! 2nd one would be because of the recent wet weather, we couldn't have proper parade rehearsals but thankfully for God, I just spoke of today it won't rain because I really want to the parade to take place and God has been good!! It didn't rain at all. Haha.. So nice right? Imagine a day of no raining after nearly 1 week of raining and it's during the monsoon season..

SOme of you may say it's all a coincidence that all these happened but I choose to believe that God was good to make it all happen for me!! Haha..

That's all for now.. Hee.. Be back soon. *hoping for a laptop now*

Haha.. I'm back blogging.. A lot of things happening for the last few days.. In fact since Wednesday.. Haha..

Since I'm already working in my sec school, occasionally I would help out in NCC matters and trainings. So since today there is an Annual Sports Day, there would be a parade and so the helpful me went to check out how my guys were doing on Wednesday when there was a rehearsal scheduled by Scouts. So everyone was there, NCC, NPCC, SJAB, Scouts, BB, GB, GG (Yea, my school have that much uniformed groups! 7/8 uniformed groups at national level) in the school field, formed up. All of them were waiting for instructions from Scouts who would be the in-charge of the Sports Day parade.

So the happily me was there interacting with my cadets teaching them how to do flag drills and then 'BOOM'!!! Nono, there wasn't any terrorists attacks, but the Scouts teacher came to myself and the cadets, asking if NCC could take over for the execution of the parade. So of course such a big decision cannot be made by me alone so I asked Mr Leong to talked to my CO. Meanwhile we just 'helped out' with the planning, getting the procedures done and settled, and the parade formed up. It's almost like we were taking over right? Thankfully I manage to get Chuwen and her SJAB to help out, so things weren't that bad. Haha..

On one side there were complains from band asking when could the rehearsal start, and the other hand got to settle the GOH, ICs, Flag party etc... Stress man and my CO came to tell me saying we could go ahead as long as we don't embarrass ourselves. -.-""

The whole contrary is that the event would be 2 days away then, and that day was the first rehearsal for the parade. And no proper planning was done and suddenly you got to take over to plan and rehearse for a parade that's less than 2 days away!

Well, that day manage to get 3/4 a rehearsal done because of the weather with a lot of delays settling administration part and felt bad coz myself and Chuwen only went back to office like 2 hours after we came out. Haha...

Then it's ok, but realised that the flag bearers didn't really know how to do flag drill so had to arrange a last minute practice session for the flag party on Thursday. Personally I had a lot of fun doing it and a lot of jokes here and there la... Realised too that teaching other uniformed groups drills isn't easy... Too many complications like you cannot treat them like cadets since there are leaders of their UG and the way you present yourself is real important (as an officer of NCC). And INSTRUCTIONS must be given clearly.

Someday I must develop a hierarchy system for inter-CCA communications including band.. Communicating can be real hard coz to them they only take instructions from their officers and not from other CCAs, and commanding the respect right from first contact or impression can be super hard too. That was the challenge I had... (one more thing, they don't know who I am and I just pop out of nowhere giving instrctions, Haha...)

Anyway, on Friday which is today, had a busy morning rushing to complete the logistics checks and all, like the state flag and school flag... And other work assignments too. In any case, we (my cadets and I) reached Serangoon Stadium at around 12pm. After which once settled down, Shuqian and I quickly got the CCAs to move, and it's really asking them to move. (You can shout all you want and they don't care. I wonder how did Ricky manage to do it when I was still a cadet)
Got the supporting contingent to form up, gave briefing to the I/Cs and got the GOH formed up too. Then came the hardest part, the flag party!! They carry a responsibility of representing the best of what their UG can offer and it's very much important to train them well. Thanks to Chuwen I managed to get 1 other cadet (Ting Ting) to be the school flag bearer. The state flag would then be held by On Zen. A lot of problems start to surface while doing the rehearsals and today was really hectic as you have a tight schedule with the band along with communication probs, and getting the peeps to familiarise themselves with the entire procedure despite the briefings done beforehand.

Done a lot of major adjustments too and finally by the 2nd official rehearsal we had today, we managed to get 90% of the entire parade look nice. Had personal training with the flag party and they were a fun batch to be with. (wanted to take pictures but was too busy and I forgot!!) [I just realised the GB flag bearer looks like Shirley.. haha] Finally... Came the actual parade with everyone formed up. *Whew*

Then the Guest-of-Honour who arrived with the Principal, had the salute done and then the inspection and later the march pass which was a bit messy with the supporting contingent but can't blame them totally given the last minute arrangements and lack of training together. And I had done something embarrassing, which I'm not going to say it down here...

And here I am... Slacking in the office and typing this post since I'm not exactly interested to stay on for the rest of the runs. Just simply not interested and the entire parade was truly draining to my body, which I don't know why. (I don't see RSM that tired while planning for parades lor..)

Anyway it was a job well done to you guys especially the flag bearers!! (Love you guys so much!) And special thanks for the additional help like Chuwen, Shuqian, Jan, Ben, Yannlin (Is that how it's spelt?) and Madaline (from band).

Actually I'm quite thankful for this whole event because through this, I get closer interaction with the students and other UGs, which is a good experience I must say.

Well, with this episode over, comes church and CGM over the weekend!!

i'm back blogging..

Life hadn't been that good since the week started.. Family problems, down in faith and all haha.. All sorts of things that could happen in a family and in your personal life, I had most of it? Lol..

But God is still faithful to me that He's always there for me.. Hee hee.. Somehow, somewhere, He'll either be there or send someone to bring me out of it, or to give me the encouragement I need to move on, things had never been more real...

Now I'm moving into a season of maturity and a growth of faith through the circumstances in my family and personal life. Life may seem so bleak but how i handle them will determine how bleak they will be, either to near darkness or to absolute brightness... Improvement only comes when we learn to embraces changes and move along with them.

That's how I'm going to treat my life, to treat everything as a stepping stone for me to move on to greater level. I'm a son of God. (sometimes it's just so cool that you have one identity and that identity will be with you even when you are in heaven) =)

If you wander off too far, my love will get you home.
If you follow the wrong star, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If the bright lights blinds your eyes, my love will get you home.
If your troubles break your stride, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home.

If you ever feel ashame, my love will get you home.
If its only you to blame, my love will get you home.
If you ever find yourself, lost and all alone,
get back on your feet and think of me, my love will get you home.
Boy, my love will get you home
